Tips on Eating Healthy – Brian Vailgura
We’ve all heard it before, but that is because it is true! To maintain a healthy lifestyle, one must eat healthy. Some benefits of healthy eating include, fat loss, decrease in blood pressure, decrease in cholesterol, and can even fight off diseases and cancer. The question for many is, “Where do I start?” Asking that question is actually a great starting point, because it shows you’re wanting change! Here are a couple of tips to get you started.
-Cut out all types of cokes, and drink more water. Most soft drinks have roughly 40 grams of sugar per can. Even if you only drink one soft drink per day, that’s an extra 280 grams of processed sugar a week that your body doesn’t need! Try drinking more water. I recommend trying to get half your body weight in ounces of water per day.
-Eat your veggies! Vegetables are nutrition packed, and helps the body function at an optimal level. Try getting at least 2 1/2 cups a day, with lots of green veggies such as broccoli and spinach.
Stay committed! Change can be tough, but is it worth it? That’s only for you to decide. You’ll be amazed at what eating healthy will do to your body!
